Further worked as Assistant Professor in Wageningen University managing several international research programs. Joined Royal Friesland-Campina, a diary cooperative, in 2013 to lead a dedicated team focused on innovations in food safety across the diary production chain. Appointed as Professor, HAS University of Applied Sciences, and manages the Healthy Farming chairs.
